It is used in synthesize for below products:

1.Synthesis of methy 2,3,4,6-tetra-O-benzyl-α-D-mannopyranoside, and then synthesis of pharmaceutical intermediate such as 2,3,4,6-tetra-O-benzyl-α-D-mannopyranose.
